Fry bread has a very dark history. Basically it was from the trail of tears. In essence the trail forcibly took every Native American and marched them to designated areas for them to live. Those lands had basically nothing and the soil was poor. To keep the people from starving to death soldiers would create a dough of water, flour, and a few leavening agents and give that to the people. The people cooked it the best they could, but still a good number died on the march. The native lands are still there but they are not the government’s concern as they were converted into cities and streets. It’s such a sad tale. Fry bread however stuck around and changed into its modern form over a couple hundred years. The Native Americans also are still around just they became too concerned with running the only thing they have which are native casinos. They literally just care about business now and trying to reclaim artifacts that belong to them. It’s really sad as the old wise Native American turned into a terrible business man.

In Florida basically citrus is on practically everything. You see it all the time. It’s because we grow pretty much all of it. That includes several varieties that were invented here. We also grow most of the okra in the world. California’s citrus fields are tiny compared to Florida. I have three different kinds of citrus in my backyard growing away and will be ready to harvest in the fall. Our industry is growing too.

Because it was not a cold building but full of people, plus the paramedics , fire fighters, police all in their 20s and 30s my generation x un EEUU almost vanished then, well they didn’t but people usually goes from baby boomers called the heroes now because most of their parents died then . Unfortunately this happened to trump a couple weeks ago during a political rally to gain supporters. He took a bullet in the ear but he’s ok. The secret service was too slow to respond and a person in the crowd died. The shooter was killed by the secret service but it took six agents to get trump somewhere safe. The director of the secret service resigned a week later after a major verbal beating by the FBI and CIA and also testifying in front of the entire congressional panel of house members and senators. He was replaced in less than a day. Political rallies tend to be of just political promises and an outline of a plan for the general area he was in. Trump was in the middle of a minor joke when he was downed. Now that Biden has left the Race it’s now Kamala Harris’ turn as she was overwhelming nominated to be the democrats candidate. Trump barely squeaked out the republican candidate by one vote.

The White House where the president lives is even stricter on security. Snipers on the roof, hidden missile batteries, elevators in the lawn that secret service can jump on top of people, even a specially designed fence to keep everyone out. Not only that but there are false offices built into the house itself as you see the videos which aren’t even from the Oval Office more like its duplicate you can tell by how each president arranges things. The lawn is rumored to have lasers to burn everything that tries to enter the premises without permission. The white house even has separate offices for every person in there. It’s a beast that only few ever enter. The public though can get a tour but only if you sign up three months in advance, go through a very thorough background check, go through an intense security process, and dress to impress. The tour really only covers a selection of the White House mostly the two bedrooms that past presidents used. Trust me getting into the White House is really hard to do. The motorcade is just an office on wheels for the president like Air Force One.

We use special orange caps on toy guns to denote they are toys. And they don’t fire anything now just they make noise. If they do fire something it’s usually water at low pressures. Toy guns are very safe now. Toy swords are made from abs or soft plastic so they don’t hurt anyone. The old toy guns only have collector value as failed ideas or novelties. Some people collect stuff like that only for display or as reminders of the past. That little train is worth about $1500 which isn’t bad but only as a collectible not running at all. A old toy gun buckle is worth about $1800 as a display piece. The radiation kit is always taken apart quickly and pieces of iron or aluminum are replaced. It’s to render it safe, the radioactive metal is given to the police hazardous material disposal unit which is then given directly to the federal hazardous material unit which gets rid of it. It takes a lot to even get it into something that blocks radiation. I kinda know as an antique toy shop had to take one of them apart and they had to call the police in and everything. It took a while but everything got settled.

You really should come to the states. We are quite welcoming especially Minnesota as a lot of African immigrants have gone and stayed. Most of them are actually old refugees from the many wars that have rocked the entire African continent. It’s another generation though that have moved away from the traditions although they still cook very similar to back home. Florida does have the African population but it’s a different vibe as they are more from the old south and really are in the gentrification phase as old stuff is being pushed out. You see a lot of rich black folk here but they act so white. It’s just different. We also don’t really experience the shortages back there either. There is plenty of everything here. We basically only ran out of toilet paper during the pandemic but other stuff took its place which the paper returned to shelves about two weeks after lockdown.

Our family was near the city, and phone lines were down for hours. It was such a devastating event and still breaks my heart. But when I see reaction videos like this, my heart breaks more because you had to see this horror. But thank you for watching what happened and understanding and empathizing with how horrible it was. Dan Fogelberg through this song got to thank his father for all he had done; to thank his father for pouring his life into Dan & preparing his young son for life as an adult; and to remind his father that he loved him [even though he didn’t tell his father that he loved him enough]. He got to tell his father all of this in a song before his father passed away. So, when Dan’s father did die several years after this song was released- Dan had no regrets. He had made sure that his father knew the impact he had on Dan’s life & that he was proud to be the living legacy of the leader of the band.

There are two inventions created by Poles, which - in my opinion - are much more important, because they saved the lives of thousands, if not millions of people. 1. Mine detector - The first mine detector (Polish) Mark I) was developed during World War II, in the winter of 1941/1942 by two lieutenants Józef Kosacki and Andrzej Garboś (appearing under the war pseudonym Adam Galb) from the Communications Training Center serving in the Polish Armed Forces in the West. The first practical tests of the prototype were carried out in Bari in Scotland on March 5, 1942. Thanks to 500 pieces of the Polish mine detector, the British managed to get through the minefields at El Alamein, which contributed significantly to the victory of the 8th Army in November 1942. In return, Kosacki received a letter from King George VI. The detector was not patented, the invention was transferred free of charge to the British Army. This design was so good that the detector was used until 1995. 2. Enigma cipher decoder - a German portable electromechanical cipher machine. Polish cryptologists managed to decipher ciphertexts encoded using Enigma for the first time in December 1932 (or January 1933) in the Saxon Palace in Warsaw, which housed the Cipher Bureau of the Second Department of the General Staff of the Polish Army. This was done by talented young mathematicians Marian Rejewski, Jerzy Różycki and Henryk Zygalski. In August 1939, copies of Enigma models and the entire deciphering process were transferred to representatives of the French and English armies. British military intelligence designated Enigma with the codename ULTRA. This name was created due to the highest level of secrecy regarding the breaking of the Enigma code, higher than the most secret (English: Most Secret), or Ultrasecret. Based on copies of the Enigma received from the Poles, Great Britain organized its own decryption center in Bletchley Park (codenamed "Station X") near London. The work was conducted under the direction of Alan Turing and allowed German dispatches to be deciphered within 2 hours of receiving them. And it was the Enigma, not radars, that allowed data to be obtained on the strength, distribution and dates of Nazi air raids during the Battle of Britain. The propaganda publicizing the role of radars was to conceal the fact that they had insight into the orders of the German command. Information about the deciphering of the Enigma was classified until the 1970s. According to many historians and military experts, the possession of the Enigma by the Allies accelerated the victory over Germany by about 2 years.
